School is starting!

Things are a little crazy around here. Sorry that I haven't updated in a bit. I have been in in-service for the last week now. My mother-in-law, Skye, Maddox, Brent, and Holly have been here for the last several days. It has been crazy. I really don't have any photos to upload other than the ones I put on facebook. I promise once things slow down a bit...I will post some good pictures and let you know how Boston is growing. He is getting so big and is now showing signs of a great personality!! I love him sooooooo much.

Update!

Monday, August 3
Boston had his two month checkup. We had a 8 pound goal that we were trying to meet...we made it. He now weighs 8 lbs. and 6.5 ounces. He is gaining weight beautifully. As for shots...he took them like a champ. What a brave little boy I have! Yesterday he played for several hours and we believe he smiled his first smile:) I really love this little boy. He is also making lots of sounds...cooing and saying aaaahhhhoooooo. Last night Ryan swore he said Dad...not!!! He wishes that would be his first word. I am sure it is going to be maa maa!!

In the next couple of weeks we will be returning to work. Luckily, I have a wonderful mother-in-law who will be taking care of him while we are gone. Thank you Gail!

First Road Trip

We finally decided to make a trip to San Antonio this summer. Things have been pretty busy around the house, so it took us awhile. Boston was a trooper. No crying the entire way down there...I am so proud of him.
